Hello fellow Ward hunter. All I know about the Davis family is that after the death of the father of CD and Mary Ward, their mother Martha Gandy Ward married Alfred J. Davis in Ouchita Cnty, AR. Both apparently died in a year or so. The Davis line is an unknown--as is the Ward husband o Martha. Ray

This is so exciting!!!My great grandmother Fameau Ann Ward was supposedly raised or blood kin to a Wiley Ward. She was Cherokee. They lived in Henry Co Tn and went to Texas Co Mo and then to Berryville Ark where her husband Abner Hill Clayton was killed in a horse race dispute. Famea was born 1828 in Tn. I would love to hear if any of these folks went to Uvalde Co. Texas.
