Thought you could add it to your Talbott list. TALBOTT, MRS. DORA G. Wife of Ira Lee Talbott of Alice, (WV?) died last week at the hospital. She was a daughter of late Mr. & Mrs.William Romine of Fink's creek. Besides her husband, five children survive. (Weston (WV) Democrat Fri 29 Sept. 1911) My comment: according to Katherine Frame's book Harts of Randolph.. Ira Lee was the first born son of Daniel B. Talbott jr. 1845 and Elizabeth Jane Wiseman. Ira b. Mar 9, 1871, m. Dora (1) June 22, 1893. Daniel B. is son of Margaret Elizabeth Capito and Edward Stephens Talbott. This same source has an F.C.Talbott, Fiduciary Notice: W.L.Talbott, admin. personal estate of F.C.Talbott deceased. (Democrat Fri 22 Dec 1911) Fred TALBOTT age 34 died this morning of heart failure. He had been ill of typhoid fever. (Dem. Fri 5 Aug 1910). Dr. Goff TALBOTT lived at Moundsville, was a dentist at the Penitentiary. He was found dead along the tracks at Benwood. Body brought to Frenchton, Upshur Co, for burial.His parents lived at Frenchton. He was about 28 years. (Ind. Tues 19 Oct 1915) ******************** ChrisEyeC has been searching for William Wamsley's Bible: Chris, we communicated about this a long time ago, and I remember you said that this was one of the Bible records that was published in the Clarksburg paper many years ago. I recently learned that the Hackers Creek Pioneer Descendants have published a booklet of those Bible record columns that were printed in the newspaper. You may have already seen the article and found that it had no useful clues about the Bible's ownership.
