Than-you Debbie ZackJosh@aol.com ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ From: MAWamsley To: Wamsleyweb I have burial information on a few Wamsleys who are in a cemetery in a relatively inaccessible location on Cheat Mountain, south of Huttonsville, in Randolph County, WV. I have not seen the Randolph County cemetery books, so don't know whether these graves are already recorded or not; this location does not seem to be described in the listing of Randolph County cemeteries at the Allegheny Regional Family History Society web site, but maybe I just didn't recognize the description. My nephews went to this cemetery on off-road motorcycles and made a video for me. I think they covered the area thoroughly -- they cleaned up the cemetery and uprighted several fallen stones. They read the inscriptions to the best of their ability; the gravestones are in poor condition and it is certain that there are several unmarked graves also. The cemetery has been fenced fairly recently, but not before cattle had been allowed to roam freely and do a lot of damage. I had most of these people in my database already, so for your information will include some annotations about who they are: Jesse Wamsley d, June 10, 1857 age 62 {Jesse is the son of Joseph Wamsley, Sr. and Eve _______.} Sarah {MACE} wife of Jesse Wamsley d.
