The obituary is for Sarah WEESE Wamsley, widow of Henry Enoch Wamsley. I would like to know who Henry Enoch Wamsley's parents were. Mary Ann Wamsley ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Sarah E. WAMSLEY -- Sarah Elmeda Weese Wamsley, 100, a former resident of Beverly for 70 years, a former resident of Grasonville, MD, and a more recent resident of Statesville, NC, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 1995, in the Brian Nursing Home, Statesville. Mrs. Wamsley was born July 4, 1894, at Pickens, a daughter of the late Clayborn Ashward and Elcinda Folks Weese. She was married to Henry Enoch Wamsley, who preceded her in death. Surviving are three sons, Harold R. Wamsley, William C. Wamsley, and Henry E. Wamsley, all of Parkersburg; three daughters, Mrs. Attie W. Payne, Fairport, NY; Mrs. Alcinda W. Collier, Statesville, NC; and Mrs. Beatrice V. Douglass, Luling, VA; and 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death was one grandchild, and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Wamsley was a homemaker and a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church of Grasonville, MD.
