My ancestor Jane who came to Iowa may have been a Wamsley/Walmsley. She was b 1783 PA, m Neely and lived in OH, IN and IA. She m James Lambert in 1822, came to IA after 1860 & died in Muscatine Co IA 1864. Family legend says she was daughter of William Walmsley but her son gave her name as Kaiser. Anything about this sound familiar? I live in Webster City IA. Have seen your Henry Co Wamsley in my searching--may have something about them in my files. Will appreciate any help you can give.
