Their brother, Richard (Dick) and his wife Opal are also deceased. My Aunt Ruth, her husband, and all three of their children are now gone and I'm searching for their grandchildren. There are 2 Wamsleys buried in Liberty Cemetery, San Janquin County, California. Jno. M. Wamsley was born on 28 June 1829 in Virginia, which means that he may have been born in present-day West Virginia. He died 3 September 1874. Micha E. Wamsley died 9 November 1883 at the age of 47 years, 7 months, and 19 days. She was the wife of Jno. above and was a native of Ohio. Does anyone know who these people were? Wanda

Who is Susan Faye Wamsley of West Virginia? There is a headstone in the Old Brick Church cemetery in Randolph County, West Virginia with that name and a birth date: August 6, 1938.
This is from PlaceNames.com Geographic Encyclopedia (http://www.placesnamed.com/w/a/wamsley.asp) - Wamsley is the 11,432nd most popular last name (surname) in the United States; frequency is 0.001%; percentile is 72.523 [SourceCBN]
The following information comes from my West Virginia Wamsley file, so I assume that this Wayne Wamsley was a West Virginia Wamsley: Wayne Wamsley, died July 1911 with wife and 4 children in a fire. For some unknown reason, I did not record his place of death or the source of my information. In the West Virginia marriage records, 1863 - 1900, there is a Wayne Wamsley who married Minnie Mullens on 17 October 1893 in Randolph County, West Virginia. Does anyone know anything about these people? Could these Waynes be the same person? Thanks, Wanda
Barbara Wamsley was a senior flight attendant on a Flying tiger Line, Inc. plane (registry number N6921C; FTL Flight 7815/14; owned by Lockheed) in 1967. She was probably living in Santa Barbara, California. The plane and civilian crew of 11, including Barbara Wamsley, was contracted out by the Air Force to transport 93 U.S. Army Special Forces Rangers and 3 Vietnamese Nationalists to Saigon. The plane disappeared 1-1/2 hours after takeoff from Guam enroute to Saigon. Does anyone know who this Barbara Wamsley was? Wanda in Virginia
Anyone researching this line? Please write, thanks. Nancy-Jo
