    3. RE: WALLACE Digest, Vol 14, Issue 3 I have a copy of the book "Six Wallace Brothers" by Barton & Gayle. I searched in 2015 and visited Alabama Archives where many said there was a copy. The librarian looked, then advised that their copy was missing. I posted a Wanted note on eBay in 2015. A few months ago (4 years later), eBay responded that there was a copy for sale at a high price. After brief negotiation, I got the book. The condition is new so it may be back in production. I find that I had the brothers and relevant descendants already in my tree. The book has augmenting facts for the people. The authors discussed the possibility that the father of the brothers was 'John.' In my tree (correct or not), I show their father as John Wallace and Mary (maiden name possibly Hollins). I show John's father as Matthew I Wallace Sr, born is Ireland as his parents were migrating from Scotland to the Colonies. On William Wallace and Mary Houlton (Holton?), I show them as my 6th GGP. I am always willing to work with collaborators to help me expand and/or correct our trees. Do you know if there is a way to get a copy of the book, or if you have the book, are you able to look up the inforatmion that I was looking for, in particular, some proof of when William Wallace married Ann Holton, and where WIlliam came from and when he died or a will? Any information would be wonderful, though I know it may be a lost cause until I can make a trip to view the book. Thank you so much for your time! 2. In Ancestry it shows that John's father as either Robert or John. What do you think? Edgar Blanchette -----Original Message----- From: Paul D. Grant Sent: Tuesday, April 9, 2019 10:26 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [WALLACE] Book "Six Wallace Brothers" & Wm Wallace-Ann Houlton RE: WALLACE Digest, Vol 14, Issue 3 I have a copy of the book "Six Wallace Brothers" by Barton & Gayle. I have looked in World Catalog worldcat.org and found that there are multiple libraries that have the book that you are mentioning. I would recommend going to your local library and asking of they can order the book for you through InterLibrary Loan. If the libraries are not willing to lend the book, they many be willing to copy pages for you. If you have not gone to HathiTrust or Google Books, do that as well. Good luck getting the book. I think this book will really help me out. I am a descendent of Francis Holton, Ann Holton's brother, who died in 1779 in Chanceford PA. He had land next to William Wallace. I am at a dead-end on finding information on where Francis came from, but hope this book will give me some more insight.
