Looking for help on my great grandfather, Lemuel Adolphus WALLACE, born Feb. 15, 1864 in Sparta, Tennessee, according to his death certificate. His father was an unknown WALLACE and mother was an Emma REED, again according to the death certificate. Lem died in 1946 in Van Nuys, California. He married to Willie L. Tubbs of Texas. A family story says all in his family, except for one unknown brother, died in a flood or river crossing when he was about 7 years old. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
