There are GRIMMETT'S south of Stamps, AR since 19th Century. My cousin, Senator Max Malone, has research on Malone's that his late father John Riley Malone,of Homer, did until 1984 death. My WALLACE/WALLIS came to south of Hope, AR(Hempstead Co) around 1857 from Campbell Co, GA(just sw of Atlanta-now part of Fulton Co). Was Madison (or Matison)Wallis/Wallace, GA native, about 30 in 1850 census. Father could have been Jesse(or Jasper) Wallis/Wallace,SC native, lived next door in GA.hughhyman@aol.com
