Excellent book by Lt. Col George H. Carlton, of Waxatchie, TX starts out with this family but says cannot prove or disprove their marriage. Called "John Carlton of Orange Co and Albemarle Co, Virginan and some of his descendants 1720-1989. 617-7519 phone number.
