My family has a William Wallace who is said to have come over in the late 1700s to Pendelton District, South Carolina, He married an Elizabeth ? there. One son, James b. 1776, another child possibly stillborn, then the William and Elizabeth went to Nova Scotia after the Revolution. 12-13 more children born there. James grew up in SC and about 1900 went to Halifax area to be with his family. Moved back to SC about 1812, and about 1830 arrived in Auburn, Sangamon Co., IL. If you or any others out there have any information on William and Elizabeth and where they were born, I would like to know. ALSO, if any of you can connedt your line to this William, Let me know, I have information on family association of the descendents of this couple that numbers in the thousand or more descentedts, in Canad, the US, and Australia. If anyone would like more information or who to contact in Nova Scotia, let me know. Virginia Severns Champaign< IL v-sev@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu
