    1. Re: Wallis, Vermont, 1600s
    2. My mother traced us back to Vermont (and Massachusetts) in thr 1600s. The name was Wallis. I can get more details but here's a question: anybody know of the Wallis' being there at that time? Any lineage to Leonard Wallis? -- Steven Rollinson Wallace -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subj: Re: A.R. Wallace From Barbara Wallace to me ............. Now if you want a real challenge, it is to find any living Rollinsons or Rawlinsons who remain alive either in the USA or the UK.-- and can be linked to our family. Though you do not bear their surname, they are as much a part of your heritage as the Wallaces. Because of extensive intermarriage, you probably have more Jenney "blood" than Wallace. That is another line I am actively researching -- with some success. In those endeavors, I am on the "cutting edge" whereas our Wallace ancestors are pretty well documented - not that more work might not bear fruit. http://www.clark.net/pub/larrys/wallace/wallace.htm
