    3. I haven't seen any replies to your questions, so you may already have this info. I've found your family in several more censuses, all in COBB CO. In 1860 it appears they were newly married, no children. James is 20, she's 17, and listed as M.P. In 1880 in Big Shanty with four children. In 1900 Big Shanty, listed as in-laws to John and Nannie Mayfield (probably the daughter, Nancy). James' middle initial is W. In 1910, Mary P. is widowed, still living in Big Shanty. If you want any of these images, please let me know. You may be able to find James' parents' names if you could get a copy of his marriage license, or his death cert. or obit. There are RAOGK volunteers for Georgia who also may be able to help you.
