Edward, The 1880 census, Pope, Monroe, IL has Jonathan, age, 47, Nancy J., 39, Sarah E. 16, Amanda, 14, William, 12, George, 10, Nancy, 7, Lew, 5, Ulysses, 1. I don't think that Co. or Saline was done in 1890. The 1900 census, Saline, Mountain Twp, has Nancy J, head, age 59, William, 32, S.L. (Lew), 25, Florence B., 22, Ulysses, 21, Rosa M., 18, Courtland, 17. The 1910 census same place, has Nancy J., age 69, Sarah, 42, widowed, William, 39?, Lew, 25, Florence,,28?, Courtland, 25?. In the 1920 and 1930 census' William F., Lew, and Courtland are living side by side. In the 1930 one, we find out that Lew was a General when he went into WWI, ( I found his registration for the Army) and Florence has been living with him for at least. 15 years, never married. I don't know who the Jane is as wife to Jonathan but I think maybe he's the one in the 1880 census!!! "Margie:
