    2. Hi Everyone, I am having a bit of a dilemma finding any info on my Grandfather. My mother never met him and was later adopted by her step-father. The only information I have is his name, Francis (Frank) Anthony Wallace, my Grandmothers name Helen Havenbrook and my Mom's name Karen Lee Wallace.. I also know that he was from the NY, NJ area and served in the army. I have tried several geneaology sites but to no avail. My mother and my grandmother are no longer living. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. Cheryl

    3. It would help if you had a timeframe like how old would frank have been when you mom was born, have you gotten your mom's bcertificate? Do you know the town where she was born? (was he in the army (and from a different area?) etc. --- Cher2334@aol.com wrote: > Hi Everyone, > > I am having a bit of a dilemma finding any info on > my Grandfather. 3. You need to give more information that you have if you want some help. For instance look at this from this standpoint: If you are 80 years old your Grandfather could have been in the Army during the Civil war while if you are a teen he could have been in the Army during the Vietnam era. and anywhere in-between. Give us something to go on. Was he Army stationed nearby for a short while, was grandma on travel to some distant place when she met him -- you get the picture! -----Original Message----- From: Cher2334@aol.com [mailto:Cher2334@aol.com] Sent: Saturday, September 25, 2004 9:29 PM To: WALLACE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [WALLACE-L] (no subject) Hi Everyone, I am having a bit of a dilemma finding any info on my Grandfather.
