Diana and Wallace Listers: I realized after I sent the message that I failed to include dates. Just tired when I sent the message. Jacob Wallace was born 1777-78 in MD. I found a Jacob Wallace in the census for 1810 in Guilford and 1820 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, PA. His sons James and Francis were born around 1808 and 1810, respectively. Francis married Elizabeth Warrington in 1829 in Belmont County, Ohio. I am tracing their son Thomas H and his descendants for my friend, Ron Wallace, who lives in California. I have much information from Thomas H forward in time, but am having difficulty coming up with records of any sort for Jacob. Anything ring bells? Father was Jacob Wallace, born somewhere in MD. He married (who?) and had two known sons, James and Francis S, in PA. He next shows up in Belmont County, Ohio, bearing witness to his son Francis's age on the marriage record of Francis S Wallace to Elizabeth Warrington. I have documented fairly well the Wallace line from Francis and Elizabeth. I'm still looking for PA and MD records for Jacob. Does anyone on the list recognize these names? I have all the children of Francis and Elizabeth -- Nathaniel, James W, Thomas H (the line I'm following down through time), Margaret and William F, all born in Belmont County.
