Hello List. I have a Wallace in my line too. Actually on 3 different branches that I have found so far. The main line is decended form Charles Davis Wallace who came to this country from Edinburgh sometime prior to 1800 along with two brothers William Wallace and John Wallace. They were in the wool manufacturing business. Charles settled in Milford, Pa married Hannah Newman (b. 3 Nov 1776) daughter of Isaac Newman d 4 May 1840 Big Eddy, NY -- children... Webb, Eli, Asa, Ira (or Iriah) Charles was killed in war of 1812 crossing Lake George in NY Hanna Married 2nd John Johnson of Ten Mile River Sullivan Co. NY My line is from the son Webb Wallace. b.23 April 1806 settled in Pike County, Pa in 1825 about d. 6 Aug 1969 31 Dec 1839 Married Mary Ann Sanford b 12 Feb 1824 d, 27 April 1883 They had 13 children Orrin Sanford Wallace John L.
