I am looking for Rev. John Wallace. I am told that he was a Presbyterian mininster. He had a daughter named Sarah (Sallie) who married Mathew Simpson Smith in 1771 in South Carolina. Matt was born in Londonderry, Ireland in 1751. His mother was Margorey (sp?) Simpson. Do not know when they came to the colonies. Matt was a Revolutionary soldier. He and his family moved to the Mississippi Territory and died in 1816 in what is now Lawrence County, AL. He and Sallie are my g-g-g-grandparents. I have no other info on Rev. John Wallace and the rest of his family. Betty.
