Thanks you so very much Frances Peoples Frances, One of my Berwick relatives, Cecilia Berwick Smith in Texas recently forwarded me some correspondence she had with a Bryan/Berwick/Lyons/Hayes relative in Crowley, Louisiana in the 70s. The name of Helena's father is in their correspondence. I've spoken with him (he is now quite elderly) and have asked him if he would through his documents to see if he has any original source material to document the information. He has spent many years working on the various lines, so I'm hopeful that he'll be able to provide some more leads and hopefully primary documentation.
