    3. Does anyone have, up their tree, a James Wallace (b. 1820-1850?) in Ireland married, perhaps secondly, to a Mary Quinn. I am trying to find his roots in Ireland and whether or not he had children and descendents who remained He had at least three children but I there may have been a wife who died previous to his marriage to Mary Quinn. My g-grandma Jane (aka Jenny, born in c. 1878) Wallace and another girl whose name I forget were definitely children by Mary Quinn Wallace. And both immigrated to NYC where a third, much older, sister was already living, married to as wealthy Goldfinch man. That sister though, may have been from a first wife who died young? And other children likely remained in Ireland. When James Wallace died in Ireland, his wife, Mary Quinn Wallace emigrated to NY to live with The daughter who'd married a Costello man who was some rich family's butler in NYC. Another daughter Daughter, Jane (Jenny) Wallace, was too poor, married to postman Denis Cronin. They lived in Brooklyn first, then Yonkers. A third daughter Mary Wallace Goldfinch, it seems, was perhaps one of James Wallace's children from a first marriage...which would explain why Mary Quinn Wallace did not live with Mary Wallace Goldfinch despite the Goldfinch wealth. (I wonder if Costello was the Goldfinch's Butler???) I have no info on Mary Wallace Goldfinch's descendents, but would like some. I have some info. on ? Wallace Costello's descendents: Behans (of NYC and Long Island) among others being descended from them. Jenny Wallace and Denis Cronin had 6 children. The first, John J. Cronin was born in Brooklyn, the rest (Harry, Mae, Angie, Cecelia and Jim) in Yonkers. Angie and Mae were spinsters. Harry was crazy. James moved to S. Ca., married, had one stepchild. John J. had 4 kids (two of each) but he died young. His children had kids as well, some remaining in Yonkers and surrounds. (I have some but not all of their info.) Cecelia married John J. Falihee. They had two daughters, Jane and Joan, both of whom had children and now grandchildren. (Jane is my Mom) I am trying to find my great great grandfather's Wallace roots and place of birth in Ireland. . Does anyone have anyone to add to this tree? I have some more to add as well if anyone finds a connection. Jenny Wallace Warsen
