Need info on Wallace family in AL, poss Jackson or Cherokee Co. According to death certificate, my g-grandfather, George C. Wallace born 1873/AL, was son of an S. Wallace and Nancy Bray. A John and Nancy Bray in Jackson Co. as early as 1850 (Originally from TN) poss. parents of Nancy, no confirming records. George married Jennie Kuykendall in 1898/Jackson Co.,AL and ended up in Collin Co., TX @1902 where he died in 1912. His children were Irene/AL m. Webb; Jewel/TX m. Kerby; Leon/TX, unk. if married, died WWII. Any relatives in AL or did any follow to TX. So far unable to make any connection in either state.
