Looking for more information on the son of Warren M. Wallace and Mary Elizabeth Floyd. Believe their James W. Wallace born in married a Martha Jane Garrett in 1886 and divorced her in 1898; is it possible this is the same James w. Wallace who later married Malinda Ella Jones in 1899? According to the Greene Co. MO 1900 census: James W. Wallace born May 1865 in AR was married to Ella born Mar 1879 and had a son Homer born Apr 1900. According to Greene County Missouri Cemeteries vol II - Kelley Cemetery: James Wallace 1865-1922 was buried next to Katie Wallace Jan 14 1869-Jul 18 1912 dau of Warren Wallace. Warren Wallace had a daughter born on the same date named Eliza C. I believe Eliza and Katie to be the same person. Is this James Wallace the same who married Martha Jane AND Malinda Ella? I received alot of the above information today from Robert Neumann from the Greene County Courthouse and we are both confused as to if there are two James W. Wallace; how each relate to John W. Wallace son of Warren M. Wallace. All these Wallace's were in Ash Grove and I know this is a small town and they must be related.
