we do have Wallaces in Alabama. Benjamin Wallace, b 1784 married Elizabeth Graham, b. 1783 in North Carolina abt 1800. Last record of them is in 1860 census in winston County, Alabama where they are beleived to have died. Childeren are believed to be Jesse, James Stafford, Elizabeth, Mary, Baalam, Wade, Susan, Benjamin and Civenia. Benjamin Wallace was the brother of Richard Wade Wallace and believed to be the son of Jessie Wallace of Scotland (abt. 1755) it is here where my brick wall comes in. let me know if this helps and you have anymore.
