Does anyone have any idea how I can get in touch with a lady by the name of Jean Wallace Sauder of Washington, Illinois? Jean's book has information about my family line but I don't know the name of the book or if she is the author of it. I was told that she had supporting documents about Reuben Leonard Wallace (born 23 Feb. 1841 in Topsham, VT & died 6 Apr. 1905 in Chicago, Illinois) & his wife, Cora Belle Spaulding (born about 1861 in Neponset, Bureau Co., Illinois & died about 1904 in Chicago, Illinois). First, regarding Ms. Sauder, try contacting Carol Wallace @ [email protected] Regarding the Reuben Leonard Wallace (1841-1905) you cite below, please note that he was married to: (1) Anna Mear (1841-1925) (2) Lovina Spaulding (1842- ??) As you noted previously - in one memo - Cora Belle Spaulding (1861-1904) was the biological daughter of Lovina & John Orvis Spaulding (I have info on him below). Cora kept the name Spalding (or Spaulding) though she was just a step-daughter of Reuben Leonard Wallace, and they lived in Chicago. Cora married Charles W. Lindsay, date unknown. Do you have that date?
