My Anna Mable Wallace, born Jul 18 1894 in Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri is the daughter of James Wallace birth and place unknown and Martha Jane Garrett, born Sep 3 1866 in IL and died July 2 1944 in Saline County, IL Recently I discovered the following: James W. Wallace / Martha J. Wallace #26371, Final Decree Sep 15 1898 Book 64 page 464, 465 of *Abstract of Divorce Records 1837-1899 Greene County Missouri Circuit Court Divorces*. Default Decree for Plaintiff. Plaintiff's petition rare, but true, in substance. Plaintiff entitled to the relief prayed for in his petition. James W. Wallace married Martha Garrett Oct 3 1886. Apparently, my gr- grandparents were divorced. Can anyone enlighten me on what the petition might have said and how I might obtain a copy of this. - Also does anyone know what James Wallace's middle name might be? I also ran across this: James A. Tuck / Martha A. Tuck #48276. Div. I. Final Decree Sep 11 1911 Book 103, page 444. Trial by court. Decree for Plaintiff. Plaintiff innocent and injured party. James A. Tuck married Martha Garrett Sep 4 1903. Is it possible this is the same Martha? Thanks for any help. Ed Crabtree [email protected]
