Hi list. I'm still trying (over ten years of searching) to find the maiden name of the mother of Patrick Wallace. Patrick was born in Limerick between 1826 and 1832. His. father was William Wallace who came down from Scotland and married an Irish girl. William Wallace came to America soon after Patrick was born and wife and son followed a year or two later. I have a good paper trail of Patrick from the time he filed a Declaration of Intent for citizenship in Dubuque, Iowa in1849 when he left there for California during the gold rush. I have nothing positive before that and Ancestry.com can't seem to find anything either. I don't know much about the DNA lineage system but maybe that would be a good way to go. Any help or suggestions would be apprectated.
