My William Wallace came to Ireland and married an Irish girlinearly 1820's Yours predates that. Sorry I can't be of help. Don't give up Bill Bill, I have a Wallace line and mine came from Scotland as well. And about the time your's came I think. Charles Davis Wallace came with 2 brothers William and John Wallace. Exact date not known In Edinburgh they were wool manufacturers. In this country they engaged in similar business. One brother invented a carding machine. Charles settled in Milford Pa and about 1800 married Hannah Newman. He was killed in the war of 1812 .while crossing Lake George in New York State. He had had 4 boys with Hannah by then Webb, Eli, Asa & Ira . She married 2nd John Johnson. and went to live in Ten Mile River. I am decended from Webb...their oldest boy. I am trying to find John and Willam that came over with Charles Davis Wallace. Will any of this fit in your tree ? Patrick was born in Limerick between 1826 and 1832. His. father was William Wallace who came down from Scotland and married an Irish girl. William Wallace came to America soon after Patrick was born and wife and son followed a year or two later. I have a good paper trail of Patrick from the time he filed a Declaration of Intent for citizenship in Dubuque, Iowa in1849 when he left there for California during the gold rush. I have nothing positive before that and Ancestry.com can't seem to find anything either. I don't know much about the DNA lineage system but maybe that would be a good way to go. Any help or suggestions would be apprectated.
