Good Evening! Since we are all listing our brick walls... Mine is the parents of John J Wallace Sr. born 14May 1811 Muskingam Co OH. Died 30 Oct 1889 in WI. Am pretty sure that he fits into a family that came over from N. Ireland in 1797 and settled in Cecil Co MD>Butler Co PA>Muskingam Co.OH. John's father was probably the second son of John and Geneva Crawford Wallace. Even the LDS church has the mystery man listed as Mr. Wallace. No one has any clue about mystery man's wife except that a census has her being born in NJ. I never knew their were so many Wallace's until I started this research. Western PA and SE OH are full of them, none of which I seem to be related to, and even the ones I'm not related to don't know anything about him.I thought mystery man might have died in the War of 1812 but without a first name, he is difficult to trace. He was probably born around 1780 in N. Ireland. He is listed in the 1800 census in MD as male between 16 and 26. He then falls into a black hole. I sure would like to find the black hole that contains all these Wallace men. It would solve so many peoples problems. Thanks for reading my rambling.
