My brick wall is my 4th great-grandfather, Edwin Wallace born c1833 in NY. Wallace, widowed, age 73, living with William Boyce and his wife, Harriet E. in Hohokus Township, Bergen Co., New Jersey. It also lists Eliza as having given birth to 13 children with only 2 still living in 1900. Both her parents are listed as having been born in England. Eliza's birthplace is listed as NY. This information was found on Heritage Quest under: Series: T623 Roll: 955 Page: 116 According to her grave stone, Eliza Ann was born 18 Nov 1823 and died 19 Feb 1901. She is buried in the Boyce Family plot in Union Cemetery in Ramsey, Bergen Co., NJ. Of Edwin and Eliza's reported 13 children, only Harriet Eliza b. 16 July 1854 NY d. 30 Dec 1912 Ramsey, Bergen Co., NJ, Emily b. c1862 NY, and William b. c1867 NY are known. I would dearly love to learn more about Edwin's origins and Eliza Ann's maiden name. If anyone on the list can help with my Wallace ancestors, I would greatly appreciate it. Gail Phares Walkley
