    3. I just found my Norval C. WALLACE in the Louisville, Ky. 1890 Directory, on the www.ancestry.com site. Interestingly living at the same address (1927 W, Madison) is William R. WALLACE, and William R. WALLACE, Jr. I believe these two Williams to be his father and brother. The mother of William, Jr., and Norval could be ether Nannie or Patsy WALLACE i am not sure and cant check it out till I get to Louisville this Sept. Does anyone have these William's in there data base? I know, I know, there are a lot of William Wallace's out there <sigh> Sheesh couldn't they have picked a different name <g> Regards, Bernadette

How much credence to you give to that? Also, I've run across something on a WALLACE web site stating that William WALLACE, father of Ruth, was the son of Joseph James WALLACE, grandson of Matthew WALLACE, and great-grandson of Matthew WALLACE. This web site also states that William married Mary WALLIS, daughter of Ezekiel WALLACE and Jean ALEXANDER. This is definitely the same William WALLACE because everything else, dates, children, etc. are the same. The person who posted the information states that Mary WALLIS is indicated as being William's cousin and that there is a reference to Mary WALLIS in the Blount County Tennessee Cemetery Records, by Little, 1980, page 260: List of soldiers and patriots of the American Revolution who settled in Blount County-State of Service, Pat.NC, wife Mary Wallis.     3. I am searching (desperately) for the parents of Elizabeth Wallace, born 1806 probably in GA. She had brothers John and Benjamin Sisters, Apsilla, Marian and Phalby. Elizabeth was in Jefferson County Georgia by 1850 with her husband Archibald Coody and many children. The 1840 census indicates all were born in Jefferson County. This is probably not correct. We know Archibald was in Burke County and Lincoln County earlier. Elizabeth was in Pulaski County by 1860 and died in Dodge County in 1893. A Sarah Coody was living in the house with Elizabeth in 1870. Sarah was 90 years old in 1870 so would have been born about 1780. Will appreciate any leads. Thanks, Mary

Regt. TN. Vol. Enlisted 1863, Discharged 1865, Died 2-28-1876. A notary J. L. Smith and wife confirmed death in Knox. County, TN. Nimrod and family was living with Capt. John H. Cross (or Gross) in Knox Co., TN. Wife of Nimrod is Delitha (Artie) J. Jennings born 1829, married in 1844 or 1843 in Greene Co., TN. There was 12 children from this marriage. First 9 are from family bible. Ruth Elizabeth Wallace born 7-29-1846 John J. Wallace born 6-5-1848 Solomon McAnally Wallace born 2-11-1850 Thomas Jefferson Wallace born 5-25-1852 Elijah Wallace born 3-24-1853 Nimrod Wallace born 12-31-1854 Nancy Antrik Wallace born 2-24-1857 Sharlotia V. Wallace born 5-16-1859 William M. Wallace born 8-3-1861 ( William and 3 other children were on the Pension papers. George C.     3. Mary WALLACE married Alexander CARSON 19 Apr 1814 in Butler County, OH. They later lived in Fayette Co. IN where Mary died in 1854. I believe their daughter Nancy mar. William MORGAN in Fayette Co. IN on 19 Mar 1848. In the 1850 census, it is probably their son James CARSON & wife Sarah living next door. Through some research today, I believe that Addie Cameron b. abt. 1874 in Minnesota, met and married "Mr Wallace" in Minnesota.(Ancestry.com has a reference to MN. census and MN. land records for an "Addie Wallace"). They must have moved to Redwood, CA. later. I do not know a date of marriage or his given name. Addie would have been about 14 years old when I lose the family in Wadena, MN. in 1888. They must have stayed in MN. Although I do not know where. The family does not show up on census info. in 1900. In my GGrandfathers obit, (Fred Cameron, Addie's brother) he moved to ND. when he was 22 (1899). His obit states that he was from Aldrich, MN. and grew to Manhood there. I know he did not stay in Aldrich, however they must have stayed in MN?????? Help! Dean Cameron
