    1. [WALLACE-L] Hugh M, son of John, son of MOSES Wallace, circa 1700-1800
    2. Hi Y'all, Still trying to get over the wall, so I am re-posting in a different manner and am pleading for help. The wandering Wallace's, supposely have been in the following states: Pa, Ohio, Ore, Ill, & Ky., but I'll bet they were in Md, Va, NC, and Tenn. also. They have owned land in: Ohio, Ky, Ill, and I'll bet again, thats theres more land in other areas of this great country, they have staked a claim for. The main TIME frame of the wall stops at !801 in Warren Co. KY. and Hugh M's birth date of 14 Aug 1778, somewhere in supposely PA is elusive at this time. My great grandfather, John H Wallace b. 4 May 1823 in Ohio, m. Susan McFadden, and moved all the way to Cowlitz Prairie, OREGON, where he died in 1899. My father and I ended up in Fla. to carry on traditional wanderings of the Wallace's. Any, and I'll repeat, Any help, would be greatly appreciated in advance. And if this is repeated, please forgive. Thanks, William Wallace in Florida visit my cousins site at: http://pages.prodigy.net/jhubb22/page3.htm

    3. I am back on the list after a long break. Since I last posted, I discovered that my Wallace line descends from SAMUEL WALLACE (b.1720 Ireland d. 1800 Kentucky) and ESTHER BAKER (b.1720 Prince Edward, Va) This marriage produced on son, CALEB WALLACE (b. 1742 Virginia). Caleb later became a judge in Kentucky and married three times, my line from SARAH MCDOWELL. They had three children: Christian, HENRY and Samuel. Henry married ELIZABETH CARLYLE and they had one son, HENRY WILLIAM WALLACE (b. 1811 in Kentucky). Henry married NANCY JANE MARTIN and they are my great grandparents. Any descendent information would be greatly appreciated. The line is fairly well documented past Caleb but gets sketchy with Caleb's marriage to Sarah McDowell to the present.

    1. [WALLACE-L] Daisy Wallace
    2. I am searching for information on Daisy Wallace (1875-1942). She married James Henry McCain. They had 10 children, of which I know the names of six: Elva Rebecca, A.D., Ruby, Ruth, Walter, and Charles Medford. Elva was my great grandmother, we called her Grandma Becky. She was born 17 Oct 1907 in Maypearl, Ellis County, Texas. She married Walter Lawrence Griffin. Ruby married ? Huggins and I believe she is still alive and living in Sweetwater, Nolan County, Texas. Charles Medford McCain was born 22 Nov 1905 in Maypearl, Ellis County, Texas and he married Mary Ethel Norwood 6 Sep 1930 in Atlus, Oklahoma. The family moved from Maypearl in a covered wagon to Coleman County, TX and from there to Wastella, TX. They then moved to Pledger, Fisher County, TX then to Sylvester, TX. They lived between Golan and Newman for a while before finally settling north of Roby, Fisher County, TX. If anyone has any connection, please let me know. Thank you, Tammy
