My Wallace line is William Wallace m. Hannah Woods. William (VA) Josiah (VA->KY->MO) Josiah Jr (VA->KY-?MO) William A.(MO) Henry (MO->KS) What I'm trying to locate just now would be in William A.'s generation and Henry's. William A. had a brother named Newton b. ca 1829 in Cooper or Pettis Co. MO. I have been able to account for all other siblings but Newton has disappeared. Would appreciate knowing if anyone has run across him in their searching. Same situation with Henry's brothers. Lewis T. b. 1862 and William F. b. 1864 basically disappeared. Family didn't know if they married (altho think did not). William was in Wash DC at one time but that is all that is know. The last brother Charles, married Edna Johnson and ended up in OK City..but don't know if he stayed there or not. Any help - is much appreciated Thanks Jan

Oliver Wallace and his family came from Ireland in 1773. I have all the children but not the name of his wife. She gave birth enroute from Ireland to South Carolina to McCasland Wallace. The family later settled in York County, South Carolina. Some of the later generations moved to Georgia, Alabama and Texas. Others stayed in South Carolina.
Me too, mostly just watching! My line stops with my Great Grandfather Lemuel Adolphus Wallace, born February 15, 1864 supposedly in Sparta, Tennessee. He married Willie Levita Tubbs of Waco Texas in 1897. All in his family supposedly perished in a flood or river crossing when he was about 7 years old. He and an older brother (name unknown of course) were put in an orphanage (location unknown of course) but ran away. He worked on river boats when younger and the railroads older. John Marshall
My Augustus WALLACE b. ca 1804, lived in Greene County, Georgia and went to Panola County, Texas early 1850's. Unfortunately I have not located any information further back than Georgia (ca 1804) to be of any help.
