Hi, all! I hope I'm not repeating information here, but I just wanted to pass along the fact that the WALEWIS-L Archives at Rootsweb is up and running. Every single message posted to the list, from the very first one sent by John, is automatically archived and searchable. So, if you have recently joined the list, you can still see if a query on your ancestor has already been posted! (This is yet another great reason to support Rootsweb). So, here's what to do: 1. Go to: http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl 2. In the space for "Name of List", type: walewis 3. press the "Submit Query" button. You'll be taken to a new page, where you can type in your query in the "Query" space, then hit "Search". You'll then be taken to a list of all messages matching your query, which you can then click on and read. Incidentally, the URL given above works for other mailing lists at Rootsweb - so if you are on more than one Rootsweb list, you can simply type in the names of those lists to search their archives.
