    3. That's a tough one. You only have one day? If it is during the week, you have 4 options. 1. Southwest Archives in Olympia for land records, marriage certificates and marriage returns (applications). cost 15 cents per copy. (You should call ahead to make sure there is someone to let you in.) 2. Centralia Timberland Regional Library downtown Centralia for obituaries (they have The Chronicle on microfilm) 3. Chehalis Timberland Regional Library in Chehalis for census information (on microfilm) 4. Lewis county courthouse for some birth, death, and marriage registers. cost $1.00 per copy. (what they don't have must be ordered from the Olympia Vitals Statistics). I almost forgot - the Olympia Timberland Regional Library has the WA death index, marriage index and divorce index. Take your pick and I will give you directions. I'm glad I live this close, because with what there is available to look up myself, it is very time consuming. Let me know what you are looking for. Perhaps I can help with some of it. Pollywogh@aol.com wrote: > Hi, > > I will be coming to Lewis County in early August to do genealogy research on > my husband's family.
