Hi Donna, John Russell Somerville, III along with one of his brothers, owned the Somerville Brothers Lumber Co. It burned down in the early 1900's, and they apparently never rebuilt. The mill was located on what is Haywire Road and W. Washington St. Their house was located at 119 W. Washington St. where it still stands today. John was married to Nancy Caroline Phillips, d/o Isaiah and Sarah 'Magill' Phillips. Some of the other Phillips children married Hawkins. John and Nancy were my g-grandparents. Their daughter Stella was my grandmother. She married John Andrew Jackson Proffitt whose brother Samuel Lehman started the "Proffitt" Department store chain in Centralia, Chehalis, Olympia and Longview. Do you connect? Sandie
