    3. Hello all, There have been a few questions since my last post and I'd like to clarify some things. 1. For the listing of cemeteries by county, the correct url is http://www.rootsweb.com/~wapsgs/WSCA/cemeteri.html Sorry about providing the wrong one earlier. 2. County auditors will do NOTHING with information provided to them on cemeteries. They are only required by the new law to notate on a title that the property either IS a cemetery or contains a cemetery. They are not required to make anyone clean up a cemetery nor are they required to track what someone is doing with their cemetery. Again, they merely record the fact that a property is a cemetery. And, they won't be required to track cemeteries or give you paperwork for cemeteries or anything else along those lines until 90 DAYS from now. Lastly, 3. Our web site does not carry transcriptions. We have legal information about cemeteries at our site and IF a transcription is known of, we include that at our site. Each county has a listing of cemeteries within that county. If information is available on a specific cemetery (i.e., owner, various names of cemetery, point of contact, location, special notes, who has transcribed, etc.), we have added another page on just that cemetery which includes all the special information for that cemetery alone. To get a better idea of how this works, please visit http://www.rootsweb.com/~wapsgs/WSCA/kitsap/kitsap.html . The page is Kitsap County Cemeteries. Kitsap County has about 70 cemeteries listed. Because I did the research on each of these cemeteries (along with Lisa Miller), there is a link for almost every cemetery. If you click on Breidablick Cemetery, you will see a page open that shows the information below -- it includes who transcribed the cemetery. Now, if you would like, you can write Puget Sound Genealogical Society and ask them for information on their transcriptions. Contact: Evergreen Cemetery & Church Association 27715 Beham St. Poulsbo, WA 98370 Transcribed by: Puget Sound Genealogical Society 1026 Sidney Ave, #110 Port Orchard, WA 98366 More information: Kitsap County Historical Museum in Bremerton, WA, has a file on this cemetery containing the history of the cemetery, the families, and the area along with a copy of the transcription. Write them at 280 4th, Bremerton WA 98337. Location: Located three miles north of Poulsbo on Highway 3 at the corner of Pioneer Way NW and Breidablick Pl. NW. If I can answer any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I hope this has helped! Andi
