I have the following items I came up with yesterday. A comical colored drawing by Wits (Watts?) with the wording on the front :A Scene along the road To Cowlitz Praire" On the back someone has handwritten "1916 at S.L. Herrens store." I scanned it in gray because I have never figured out to scan color and have it come out the right color! (Will send attachment) There is also a different comical postcard (back says the same 1916 at S.L. Herrens store" but doesn' say Cowlitz Prairie. also....... Have a write up April 10, 1914 of a flag observance and new pole by the Bennett School District 119 (Ethel) and it names all those participating including the surnames, Blair, Canterbury, Zandecki, Wright, Mulchi,Burchett, Gore, Powell, Brooks, Christian, Kerr, Todd, and King. and......... a Onalaska Grade School Program for March 11, 1932 listing all those involved and a Grade School program dated Dec.4th 1931 listing all those involved, and a Onalaska Union High School bulletin for the graduating class of 1931, dated Thursday May 28th...(boy don't you wish you could still get out school in May? and not go back until after Sept.?) If you are interested in any of these please let me know! John Blair
