Surely would like to be at the East Lewis Co. Historical Society meeting. That would be on our 46th wedding anniversary. Might be possible I could make it. I guess I have relatives around there still, though I don't know who they are. My close relatives live in the cities now. The logging ran out, and my people left, and are mostly dead. Seems like that was in another life. Rodney Veitschegger, Bowling Green, KY
Well John, I'm sorry i couldn't be thereI live in Roy Wa but had a family there and I been there much in 1970's I went to the Vet's Hosp and helped bring cookies and cheer there for the unfortunate there for a number of yrs. I just put a querry up on your site. I think you should print them all aout and take them for people to look through. I know there should be some Roger there from a Daniel that was there in late 1800's. I saw a request in Salt Lake on a looking for list and thought I had copied it but didn't get home with it. It was a Rogers looking for Brannan's and I know it was descendants of the two sons of Daniel and the Almira that mar Thomas in my Querry. We've all benefited from the incredible mailing lists and surname lists by ROOTSWEB....I can't wait till they have the Census info online! Am looking for anyone related to Snodgrass families that lived in Napavine and Onalaska areas. John Blair/listowner
Diane, Just a thought... You might try checking the FHL catalog at a local Family History Center for the name of the book, author etc. If you can't get what you need just from the library catalog ask to have the book loaned to you. I was successful in locating the author of a family book in the Salt Lake library by taking her name and town from the book and searching the web. A letter produced not only my own copy of the book, but the records she had used on my line which contained even more information. Good luck, Cindy > >Hi John, >Thanks for the calendar site, sounds great. I am looking for a book, don't >know if it is in print now or not. Thanks Hi John, Thanks for the calendar site, sounds great. I am looking for a book, don't know if it is in print now or not. When you are at the Vendors Fair, would it be any trouble to see if you have any luck on finding it? The name of the book in 'Deskins' by someone named Smith. That's all I have--oops- it's 2 volumes. This book was seen at Salt Lake City library. I am really on a quest for this book and thought maybe you could ask/look when you are there. Thanks so much, Diane
Hi!!! This is the URL for a very helpful websit. It is a 10,000 year calendar. If you have an obituary or a birth, marriage certificate and you want to know what DAY the date fell on, go here. http://calendarhome.com/tyc/ You can choose the month and year and it will give you the calendar for that time and you can see what day - say the 25th fell on in the year 1890 or 1943, etc. Hope it is helpful to you all.

I forwarded this Vendor's Letter because of the HTML problem it came to me, so I fixed it up and sent your way. Having never been to a Genealogical Vendor's Fair I would like to encourage you to ask a question or two and those of you who have please respond, help the rest of us! I see there are all kinds of booths and things to look at, and even ask questions. One question I have is the mention of some county records...which ones in particular? A certain census record? or death records,? and by the way anyone out there have quick access to 1910 Lewis Co. census? John Blair/Listowner

But after some thought we decided to sell it to defray some of my costs, we deeply honor this man, whoever he was, and respect him. We have family who fought in the war, and only honor them. If you could let whoever you heard this from know , we did not mean any harm, so I will stop getting messages, that upset me I would appreciate it. I am going through my own hell right now, and I am so very tired, ready to give up, and this has depressed me beyond belief. I do thank you for being nice to me, I don't get out to make many friends And to this point e-bay has been so good for me, but now I don't think I will ever sell anything again. We are good decent people, my husband has more integrity than a lot of the people who have written to us. He is the best man anyone could ever know and has been through a lot himself. E-bay has also been a comfort to him, it is an escape if you will for both of us from the hell we live with every day, so please if you do know anyone let them know to just leave us alone, to enjoy our time together. -----Original Message----- From: NaiThom@aol.com <NaiThom@aol.com> To: jcmichael@accs.net <jcmichael@accs.net> Date: Monday, May 03, 1999 10:10 PM Subject: Re: FW: Grave Markers >Hey, > One of these days remind me to tell you about some of my screw ups.
