"PASSED TO THE BEYOND "On Saturday morning death entered the household of the late David M. Jones, 4 North Sherman street, and carried off the widow, Mrs. Catherine Jones. She was 74 years of age and had been ill a fortnight, death resulting from bronchitis, brought on by an attack of the grip. She leaves behind her a large family of children and grandchildren and a large circle of friends, residents of this city. The children are: Morgan W. Jones, Thomas N. Jones and David J. Jones of South Meade street; Mrs. James V. James of the Heights and William D. Jones, chief clerk of the Red Ash collieries. Deceased was a life long member of the Welsh Presbyterian Church, and was beloved by all for her lovable and Christian character. She will be mourned by scores of friends, especially in the church she regularly attended for a period of 21 years. "She came from Rhamdirmyn, Wales. Her husband died eight years ago from a similar affection. The funeral will take place on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Services will be held at the residence, 4 North Sherman street, and Rev. William H. Williams will officiate. Interment in Hollenback Cemetery."
