It seems Brian has stirred a few into action! My interest is EDMUNDS. My g.grandparents were in Tasmania and I have been able to find no trace of them on passenger lists or of their marriage. But their death certificates both show Wales as place of birth. William Edmunds - born Wales (nothing more specific) 1846. Died Launceston Tasmania 1901. WIlliam was a miner at Beaconsfield, Tas. Margaret (nee Thomas) is stated as born in Glamorgan in 1850. She died in Beaconsfield in 1901. Always hopeful! Judith Melbourne
