Your computer maintains the qualities of the three viewers, so you don't have to do any swapping around - they all work in together. BUT, if you have to re-install the whole Viewer prodecure due to some corrupt files or a computer crash, I am sure you will have to follow the above formula - seems to be that way. I did not re-install viewer 3, thinking (quite erroneously, it seems) that viewer 4 would do the job, but no the lovely and fascinating word search facility was just not there, so I shall have to go and get the viewer 3 disk and reinstall it, then possibly re-install viewer 4 again. Viewer 4 doesn't seem to do anything much, except that I think it will allow you to get a parent search from the British Vital Record disks, and that would certainly be worth the while having it.
