"FUNERAL OF DANIEL OWENS "The funeral of the late Daniel Owens of Railroad street, Empire, who died on Monday, took place yesterday. He was a miner and has lived in Wilkes-Barre for the past twenty-seven years, coming here from Rhymney, Wales. He was a member of the Welsh Congregational Church from its formation and was an earnest Christian worker. He leaves a wife and two adult children. The obsequies were conducted by Rev. Dr. T.C. Edwards of Kingston. Interment in Hollenback Cemetery."
