    3. Hi all. This is being cross-posted. Some folks will receive duplicates. Remember back a month or so all the excitement about Viewer 3 and how it came with the Mormon Immigration Index for free (well you had to pay for the immigration index, naturally). Everyone finds it a very useful tool, in that the search facility allows you to put in any word or a combination of words, such as name, place, occupation. Marvellous. I've found it very useful. At the same time as ordering the Mormon Immigration Index I ordered the British Isles Vital Records and was delighted to find that they came with Viewer 4. Well, I was going to donate the MII to the local LDS library anyway (which I did), so included the Viewer 3, which I felt I no longer needed. Not so. After a computer crash I re-installed the LDS records but found Viewer 4 did not give me the search facility that was on Viewer 3. Now, I have to go back to the LDS library and "borrow" back my Viewer 3. Lesson learnt. bye A chastised Graham in Melbourne, Oz

    3. Hi Graham, I find the 3.0 Viewer wonderful, in fact I think its magic! I had heard about the 4.0 one but was told by the Distribution Centre that it was not yet available, that was about six weeks ago. I am surprised it is not as versatile as the 3.0, can you tell what it does extra to the 2.0? Also is it possible to have both the 3.0 and 4.0 installed and swap from one to the other.
