Hi Ron, I have just found some more information on Nanteos along with a telephone number which is 01970 617756 <<It is a fine Georgian mansion built between 1739 and 1757 with carved oak staircase, period kitchen, Victorian morning room and delightful music room. Good example of the life enjoyed by Welsh nobility in the 18th and 19th centuries. The name means "valley of the nightingale". Opening hours: Easter weekend, then June to September daily 1300-1730>> It is obviously a large house open to the public. Regards, Margaret Harvey
