Hi Ron, I have done an advanced search on the 1881 Census and there is a a place called Llanbadarn Fawr which is just south east of Aberystwyth. There are two dwellings there with the name of Nanteos (one word). I had tried earlier with the two words Nant Eos and nothing came up. There is an Agent living in one dwelling and also a Butler, Housekeeper and Domestic Maid which means that it is likely to be a large property with the owner away or living elsewhere at the time of the Census There is a Land Agent living at a separate entry headed Nanteos and it may be part of the main property or a separate dwelling. There is also a Nanteos Lodge with a Gardener living there. I hope the above is of interest to you.
