    3. Hi, Newport is now in Gwent but used to be in Monmouthshire. It isn't quite as simple as that as Monmouthshire used to be an English county but considered part of Wales for some legal purposes. The CDRom which is part of the 1881 collection produced by the Latter-day Saints is classified as the Wales and Monmouth area. I don't know of a site but I am sure there must be one, it would be very useful.
