I have been looking for info on my 4 ggparents they were both born in Wales I am not sure where they both have a very common name in Wales even for the 1700 William Davies born in Wales 1776-1777 Sarah Evans Wales 1773 I do know they married in Wales or england 1798 an came to America shortly there after 1799-1800 I have gone through several documents in Pa where they settled none saying where in Wales they were from I do have a letter from there son James to there Atty. Asking about selling the property in Wales that was left to William Brother who was missing in the war for 15 years they were colecting rent on the Property in Wales The letter was written in 1843 about the Laywer going to wales an trying to sell the house and land Farm I would guess as they were all farmers an William Davies being to old to make the trip agian to Wales Can anyone give me anymore clues as to were to find these two missing reletives of mine of course I do not have a name for William Davies brother The letter just states that he had one in Wales with a family Farm Thanks Dotty Davis
