Hi all, I am a new subscriber, after 6 hours being online with the 1901 census I finally managed to find some information about my ancestors. NOW, I Hope I don't upset anyone <gulp>, but is "Denbigh Brymbo" a Welsh town ?, I found Denbigh in welsh meaning "fort", so I'm hoping someone can assist me further. If it isn't I do apolygise and I'll leave with my head between my tail. The 1901 census showed me my ancestor JOHN ALLINGTON was borned in Denbigh Brymbo date 1860'ish. TIA Mike McCarthy

Hi Mike, Congratulation on your find, your patience was rewarded. I have the 1881 Census on CD Rom just ask if you want me to look up John for you. Brymbo is an area of Wrexham or maybe a village in its own right. Wrexham is a large town in the old county of Denbighshire but now in Clwyd. It is not far from the Welsh border with Cheshire. Don't apologize for asking questions, this is the way we all learn about family history research. The whole idea of these "lists" is that we pool resources and knowledge.
