Hi Anne, Have you tried the LDS Online F.H.Library Catalog? It can be found on: http://www.familysearch.org/Search/customhomepage.asp Access the Library Catalog and type Llywel in the place name space and you will be surprised at the amount of information available, it tells you where films of the records can be found. For years I've been trying to find his baptism. This is what I know: > > Married to Sarah JONES on 14th June 1793 > Son, David, baptized on 6th October 1793 > Daughter, Gwenllian, baptized on 19th January 1802 and buried on 19th April 1803 > Daughter Gwenllian, baptized on 25th December 1805 > Buried, aged 38, on 25th December 1805 > > All these events took place in the parish of Llywel. I have found no will. Apart from the parish registers, little seems to have survived for Llywel. > > Any thoughts you might have on tracing him will be welcome. If anyone has a connection with Llywel I will be happy to look for the family in 'Roots and Branches', a book about some of the local families. > > Yours sincerely, > Anne Vinnicombe (Mrs) > > > ==== WALES-GEN Mailing List ==== > C J Genealogical Collections > Web Page http://freespace.virgin.net/genealogical.collections > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > >
