"Mrs. Robert Jones of 121 South Sherman street died at 5 p.m. on Sunday evening of typhoid fever, after an illness of about three weeks. Deceased was 50 years of age and was born at Abergwynolwyn, Merionethshire, North Wales. She is survived by her husband, four brothers and the following children: Mrs. David O. Pugh of West Bangor, Pa.; Lewis and Robert Jones, Quincy, Mass.; Evan, Hugh, David, Maggie and Willie Jones of this city. Her brothers are Hugh Edwards of Australia, Lewis Edwards and Owen Edwards of Wales, David Edwards of Virginia. Deceased was a constant and active member of the Welsh M.E. Church on the Heights, her husband being a class leader. She has been a member of the Methodist Church from her youth. During her sickness she suffered intensely, yet she died peacefully and manifested her desire to depart. She died with the firm assurance of happiness beyond this life. She has left an example of conscientious living, worthy of imitation, to her children and all her associates. Funeral will take place on Wednesday afternoon. Interment in Hollenback Cemetery."
